How to Still Your Soul
It’s a rare feeling, but if you’ve ever been with someone who feels like “home”, as if just being with them gets rid of all the rest of your problems, then you’ve most likely tasted the goodness of God.
Outside the bombardment of media that demands our attention and work that demands our output, there is a secret place that only you have been—the secret place with you and God. I believe that every person has this, but most days we are caught up with so much that we forget how this place is just right under our nose. Yet we just have to be still.
To see God as Someone who is alive and not just a dry concept, to talk to Him as a living Person rather than a poster image—those are crucial to our survival. Way more precious than anything you could achieve for yourself. Yes, being in the presence of the LORD is far more important than finding acknowledgment from thousands who only see you through their screens. Jesus is closer than your own soul.
I invite you to rest in Him today, and really rest. Breathe with Him. Enjoy Him. Try 5 minutes. Yes, you do not have to worry about a thing when you’re with Him. Wanna know why? Because while you’re resting in Him just as He rests on the bosom of His Father, He holds the universe in His fingertips. He can take care of your worries much easier than you can blink. Trusting in Him would be the most productive thing you could ever do.

We are vessels made to be occupied by one thing only. We can deny self and choose Christ, or deny Christ and choose self. It will always be one or the other.
