The Two-Faced Reality of Success

I learned something very real lately. It’s that people who visibly doubt themselves, and people who look very impressive, could equally be crippling with insecurity.

Growing up as an achiever really messed with my worth, and that’s why Jesus is precious to me. When the world says what I do, how well I do it, how much I make, or what I look like measures my value, Jesus says, “I forgive you.”

Everyone else sees what’s on the outside. They don’t know. They don’t know the hurt, the crippling fears, the helplessness. I mean why would you show that?

But God knows it all, and knows that I am not fit for heaven. I sin, time and time again. Somehow He knows that “I forgive you” is what I really need to hear.

He says, “Listen, I love you more than you know, and I will make a way for you to be with Me forever, but you have to let go of trying too hard to prove yourself to other people. They’re not gonna get it without My Spirit.

”So, do you trust Me?”

If you put your faith in Christ as your good Lord and faithful Savior, your worth is eternally secure.

It’s one thing to know that. Now, live it.
