My friend, Marielle, was a co-worker in my former job. As a custodian, her job required her to be on-site, so when the pandemic hit and the rest of the staff worked remotely, she lost a significant amount of income. As the breadwinner of her family along with her father who was a public transportation driver, the pandemic severely affected their ability to provide for their family.

Currently, my friend works as a Grab motorcycle driver. Though she earns from every delivery gig, it isn’t enough to pay for their daily needs, especially when medical emergencies come (which has been often). On top of their family’s needs, they also have taken in a widow, Nanay Gloria, who has a medical condition that requires her to take medicines that cost Php 2,000 (~USD 40) for a week’s worth, along with other basic necessities such as adult diapers and milk.

I know that I am not a big foundation, but just a person who knows a person with a family in need. But the good thing about this is that you have my word that your 100% of your donation will go directly to them. God’s past graces

OCTOBER 2021: God provided PHP 14,000 in one day which covered so many emergency medical and home expenses for Marielle's family.

AUGUST 2021: God provided PHP 5,000 (USD 100) within 20 minutes to pay for an immediate need in their family.

JULY 2021: God provided PHP 17,000 (USD 339) in one night to shoulder unpaid hospital bills that would help discharge my friend's aunt who needed to undergo an urgent operation.

MAY 2021: God provided over PHP 18,000 (USD 359) in a day to provide for Marielle's family needs and her aunt's urgent medical check-up. 

APRIL 2021: God provided funds for Marielle's brother's check-up and medicine within 20 minutes.

As you can see, though their family has gone through a lot of financial need in the past year alone, He has also been pleased to provide for them through others (mostly the church). And though I continue to pray that they would find a more stable source of income soon, I really believe that the LORD wishes to provide for them through the generosity of people like you.
